The FamilySearch menu

 

When you click ‘FamilySearch’ on the main menu, the FamilySearch drop down menu appears.

The ‘Download a tree from FamilySearch™’ action lets you sign on to FamilySearch and download information. You can specify how many generations of ancestors and descendants you want to have downloaded.

Uncheck any ordinance types that you don’t wish to have highlighted, then click OK. A red circle will be drawn, and the name will be shown in red, for all individuals in the current tree that have LDS ordinances of the selected types with a status of Ready.

The Print a list of individuals with ‘Ready’ LDS ordinances action will create a printed report showing all individuals in the current tree that have LDS ordinances of the selected types with a status of Ready. You can also see a preview of this report by selecting ‘Open PDF in Preview’ under the PDF dropdown box.

The Highlight individuals with ‘Ready’ LDS Ordinances action will cause the ordinance selection sheet to be shown.

Note: LDS Ordinance information from FamilySearch™ is only available to LDS Church members.

The ‘Get updated ordinance information from FamilySearch™’ action will ask you to sign in to FamilySearch,™ if you are not already signed in, then will update LDS ordinance information for everyone in your tree that has a Person ID.

The ‘Download everyone’s Memories from FamilySearch™’ action will ask you to sign in to FamilySearch,™ if you are not already signed in, then will download photos, documents, etc. for everyone in your tree that has a Person ID.
